This piece comes from over a decade of working with stencil and print. Built slowly and entirely by hand using blades, card, spray paint and pastel.
There are quiet references to Marilyn Diptych and Kate Moss; familiar pop imagery reworked through repetition, variation and process.
At the centre is Betty Boop. Recognisable, playful and rebuilt through a more physical, handmade approach.
