It's A Trap! I wanted to capture a moment of wonder in the aftermath of chaos. In this piece, a boy plays with the remnants of the Death Star, a symbol of destruction reimagined as a toy, as something small and playful in his hands. It’s about turning fear into curiosity, power into play and epic stories into intimate moments.
The stencil captures the boy in monochrome, while the shattered Death Star is rendered with subtle metallic highlights, giving the scene a weight and presence that contrasts with his small, joyful figure.
It’s a reflection on imagination. How even in a universe of colossal battles and legends, there’s room for innocence, humour and perspective.
